Membership of the institute is open to individuals and
corporate bodies. The grading of individual member is in accordance
with the standards set by the council.
Admission into any membership grade is subject to current
academic and
Professional qualifications and appropriate experience. There
are five
classes membership of the institute namely: Fellow, Full member,
Associate member, Corporate and Student.

FELLOW MEMBER (FIBM) |

The main qualification is recognizable achievement in the
field of business management either in public or private sector.
Election of this grade is by the council of the institute on
the recommendations of the Board of Fellows. |

>> ASSOCIATE
MEMBER (AIBM) |
| |
A person shall be admitted as an Associate if he/she:
(a) Passes the qualifying examination for membership conducted
by the council Institute.
(b) Holds a University degree in relevant field or professional
qualifications
obtained from a recognized professional body and has acquired
sufficient
practical experience. |

>> CORPORATE
MEMBERS |

The Institute shall admit corporate bodies, which have fulfilled
such conditions as may be stipulated by the council. |

>> STUDENT |
|
| |
The Institute shall admit student members approved by the
council. |

| |
>> FULL
MEMBER (MIBM) |
|
| |
Sound educational background coupled with long job/ life experience.
Reserved for graduates of the Institute (i.e completion of Advanced
Diploma in Businesss Administration and Management.) |
